PIO2: INCONTRI CON IL PAPA UMANISTA

Un gemellaggio tra l’I.I.S. “E. S. Piccolomini” e i Licei Poliziani, complici il Comune di Pienza, la Società di Esecutori di Pie Disposizioni e l’Associazione Il Liceone: gli studenti di Siena e Pienza guide, ciceroni e musicisti in una giornata culturale sulle tracce di Pio II. Concerto finale e la conferenza “Quale crociata?” con i Prof. Mario e Raffaele Ascheri PIO2: INCONTRI CON IL PAPA UMANISTA si terrà a Pienza il 22 maggio prossimo ed è una giornata all’insegna della cultura realizzata dagli studenti dell’I.I.S. “E. S. Piccolomini” di Siena e Licei Poliziani di Montepulciano.

È un gemellaggio tra le scuole che vedrà impegnati gli studenti in percorsi di ciceroni, lettori e musicisti alla scoperta dei tesori della città di Pienza sul percorso del Papa umanista Pio II. L’evento vuole ricollocare la cultura umanista sul suo palcoscenico naturale: la città ideale del Rinascimento. Il gemellaggio tra i due Licei intende liberare tutta l’energia che possono esprimere i ragazzi che ispirano i loro studi a tali principi, ovvero riportare l’uomo al centro del palcoscenico in una sorta di necessario, perpetuo rinascimento. Il tutto è stato pensato in nome di Enea Silvio Piccolomini, salito al soglio pontificio con il nome di Pio II. Questa l’idea dell’Associazione il Liceone, che riunisce gli studenti di ogni tempo del Liceo appunto intitolato proprio ad Enea Silvio Piccolomini, condivisa e partecipata con la dirigenza, i docenti e gli alunni del Liceo Piccolomini di Siena, dei Licei Poliziani di Montepulciano e l’Amministrazione Comunale della Città di Pienza, con il coinvolgimento della Società di Esecutori di Pie Disposizioni. L’iniziativa vede impegnate queste realtà in un appuntamento che successivamente vuole avere cadenza annuale e che toccherà i temi più cari a Pio II, come le CROCIATE, l’UOMO e la NATURA, la BELLEZZA e la RAZIONALITÀ, declinando ogni anno il tema scelto dagli organizzatori sulle città e le realtà coinvolte. L’Associazione, il Comune della Città di Pienza, i Dirigenti dei Licei e la Società di Esecutori di Pie Disposizioni invitano la cittadinanza a partecipare a questa giornata celebrativa della figura storica e dei giovani che sono la colonna portante della nostra società e il nostro futuro. La giornata si svolgerà in quattro momenti – uno al mattino e tre al pomeriggio:

Al concerto invece si esibiranno: Margherita Caramanico, soprano; Rebecca Sois, soprano; Leonardo Voltan, Violoncello. Da parte dei Licei Poliziani – spiega il Dirigente Marco Mosconi – saranno eseguiti dagli studenti i seguenti brani: Carpe Diem (Orazio Garosi), inno dei licei; 1492 Conquest of Paradise (Vangelis)
