
VALTIBERINA- A seguito delle dichiarazioni di ex amministratori e di esponenti politici locali relativi alla nomina dei componenti del cda di EAUT e, più in generale, sulle competenze dell’Ente condividiamo alcune riflessioni. La Regione Toscana ha pubblicato un bando per procedere alla nomina del componente toscano in seno al Consiglio di Amministrazione di EAUT.
Per la prima volta quest’anno hanno partecipato alla selezione persone con esperienze e professionalità radicate nella nostra vallata e in linea con i requisiti del bando. Non era mai accaduto fino ad ora. La chiamata era pubblica e tutti i cittadini con le caratteristiche richieste potevano partecipare anche di propria iniziativa, come in effetti alcuni hanno fatto. Il partito democratico si è poi impegnato in modo unitario affinché la Valtiberina potesse avere un Presidente dell’Ente scelto tra
i candidati espressione del territorio. I rappresentanti dei partiti del centrodestra locale insieme ai sindaci della Valtiberina, espressione della stessa area politica, gridano allo scandalo per la recente nomina, ma non sono riusciti a sollecitarela presentazione di nessuna candidatura che potesse concorrere nell’apposito bando. L’impressione è che si siano ricordati della vicenda EAUT solo quando era troppo tardi, a bando chiuso. Purtroppo siamo ormai abituati a tante chiacchiere e poca concretezza, indice di scarsa efficienza amministrativa. A tale proposito ricordiamo anche che EAUT non decide affatto dove e come irrigare il territorio, come sembrano alludere alcuni interventi recentemente pubblicati, ma gestisce esclusivamente le opere di accumulo, adduzione e distribuzione principale, non solo quelle di Montedoglio, ma anche quelle di altri bacini presenti in Toscana e in Umbria. Nella nostra vallata la distribuzione nel territorio e la copertura irrigua di tutti i distretti agricoli è gestita dall’Unione dei Comuni, guidata dai sindaci della Valtiberina. Una gestione che risulta poco efficiente, con alti costi e che, ad oggi, non ha ancora messo in campo nessun investimento per completare la rete irrigua.L’Ente acque umbro toscano gestisce una risorsa ambientale preziosa, strategica per le vallate del fiume
Tevere, quella toscana e quella umbra, e per l’intera Regione Toscana, con molteplici finalità: irrigue,
idropotabili e industriali. Simone Viti è la figura individuata per la presidenza di Eaut tra i partecipanti al
bando regionale, nominato a seguito di una valutazione che, infine, è stata prevalentemente curriculare e
la cui responsabilità è diretta del Presidente della Regione Toscana, per statuto.Uno statuto di cui abbiamo già chiesto la modifica con un recente atto di indirizzo di cui è stato promotore
il Consigliere regionale del Partito democratico Ceccarelli, condiviso con De Robertis e Fratoni, volto a
rivedere l’accordo tra le due Regioni per allargare il consiglio di amministrazione da tre a cinque consiglieri,due in più in rappresentanza delle vallate del Fiume Tevere, toscana e umbra. Riteniamo infine corretto riconoscere formalmente le ottime referenze dell’ingegnere Simone Viti ed
evidenziare che, conoscendolo, abbiamo piena fiducia nella disponibilità e nelle capacità che saprà mettere in campo.
