Si è spento serenamente oggi, Giancarlo Guasticchi, il “Dottore”, umbertidese, storico “Servitore dello Stato” e uomo delle istituzioni che le ha contrassegnate a lungo in maniera indelebile con la grande competenza, senso si appartenenza e garbo d’altri tempi. Da sempre vicino alla propria comunità ha rappresentato un baluardo per le istituzioni umbre ad ogni livello. In particolare la Provincia di Perugia è stata la cifra distintiva della sua vita con impegno e dedizione e lo ha visto a lungo segretario generale prima e poi direttore generale apprezzato e stimato da tutti. Insignito della prestigiosa onorificenza di Grande Ufficiale dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana (O.M.R.I.), accanto all’impegno istituzionale e all’amata famiglia, ha sempre seguito con passione lo sport, il calcio e la Juventus, squadra del cuore di cui ha condiviso successi e storia con il fraterno amico e “presidentissimo” Giampiero Boniperti. Nel darne notizia, la moglie Mariella Donati e i figli Gabriella e Marco Vinicio Guasticchi ricordano “con ammirazione il suo essere sempre presente con affetto in ogni circostanza della vita”. Fra i numerosi messaggi di cordoglio, quello del sindaco di Città di Castello, Luca Secondi, che, nell’esprimere vicinanza alla moglie, alla figlia e all’amico fraterno Marco, evidenzia “con orgoglio e gratitudine il ruolo che il Dottor Guasticchi ha svolto come presidente del collegio dei revisori dei conti del comune tifernate. È stato un faro per tanti amministratori pubblici, non lo dimenticheremo”.
